The Safe-on safety stirrup, a French product manufactured by Acaplast for its client Flex-on, has an outer arm that automatically releases during falls when pressure is applied. It can be likened to an Alpine (downhill) ski binding, which comes open when a skier takes a spill.
The stirrup ensures the comfort of riders by improving their balance and protecting their joints at the ankles and knees.
